Those are coding languages used in web design. Most web sites are at least partly if not entirely made from CSS and XHTML code.

Since you're not familiar with CSS and XHTML this might be something for you: [link] I haven't tried this myself so I'm not sure how good it works but it appears to work for making at least basic journal skins. :)
